One of our proudest achievements is our partnership with the American Cancer Society. Each year, we sponsor the “Hope On The Slopes” event at Jay Peak in Jay, Vermont, raising crucial funds to support their important work in the fight against cancer. It’s an event that brings together our team and the community in a shared mission of hope and support.
In memory of our beloved son, Nicholas Ruschmeyer, we established The Reeno Foundation (visit us at https://reenofoundation.org/). The Reeno Foundation is our way of honoring Nicholas’s legacy by increasing access to powerful transformative outdoor experiences for children and young adults. We believe that nature has the power to inspire and heal, and we are committed to making these experiences accessible to those who need them most.
Our founder, Larry, has a rich background in landscaping and outdoor maintenance. He began his landscaping career in Bedford, NY, working on landscape construction projects from Manhattan to Hartford. His expertise also includes Corporate Maintenance, where he served as the Supervisor of outdoor maintenance at Union Carbide’s Worldwide Headquarters in Danbury, CT, and as Property Manager for Stauffer Chemical’s World Headquarters in Westport, CT. Larry has also dedicated his time and skills as the Landscape Chairman for The Congregational Church of Brookfield, CT. Larry is also a commissioner for the Zoning Board of Appeals in Brookfield, CT.
For the past 41 years, we have played a pivotal role in beautifying downtown Ridgefield and have been trusted partners in landscaping for numerous new construction projects in the area. Our strong relationships with our homeowners, as well as builders, developers, designers, and architects, attest to our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
